Hey Advertisers (Bruce?) and Casey's Bro.

If you want to listen to Casey's emotionless conversation with his brother, someone posted clips here:

Bruce, if you're out there lurking, i'd be curious to hear how you thought of that. You seem to be a spiritual person (which I do have respect for the people who's faith is truly strong, no bashing from this agnostic).

But as a Christian, how do you respond to Casey's complete lack of emotion towards his family? Is web traffic really a fair exchange for supporting someone who apparently doesn't truly care for the people hurting around him?

I haven't heard that part yet, I had to jam because my (internet) show is on Fridays.

I'm checking it out this morning and will comment once I hear it.

It doesn't really change my advertising though because I would advertise on CNN or FoxNews, even if I didn't agree with how they slant the news.

Would it change my opinion of Casey? Sure, but my opinion is ever changing as it is. I regret having used the term 'genius' before I had the bigger picture of the situation.

I make mistakes sometimes.

Your points are valid.

Murst!

I couldn't resist but I did it wrong, eh?

If I could, I would advertise on the networks (ABC,CBS and NBC) but that doesn't mean I agree with everything they broadcast. My life isn't soiled by the actions of others. However, if I was doing anything to cause another person harm or cheating the banks ala Serin- then, that would be a deficiency (and that is morally wrong) on my part.

I try to lead a good life. I have failed many times before. However, these are good times. I'm blessed to have enough money to support 'poor' people in places like the Philippines and elsewhere and my (internet) show is not a money maker, not even close.

I heard the conversation between Steve and Casey. Steve seems to be the levelheaded one. Sad, sad family situation.

I can't believe anyone would fork over thousands of dollars to these 'real estate gurus.' Then again, people fork over tons of money to evil televangelists. What did PT Barnum say? A sucker born every minute.

I agree with your sentiments but, ultimately, you and I are smart enough to see where this situation is headed, right?

On the flip side (no pun intended ), Casey’s ad revenue seems to be his main source of income these days. Even his brother didn’t say take it down per se, but to focus on the more important things in life as well. Actually, focus was the wrong word to use. We all know what that means in Casey’s case.
Geez, Bruce keeps beating me to Murst! these days.

Looks like the writing was on the wall yesterday...

Casey posted that he had to take care of a very urgent issue.

I emailed him and asked him if he was ok and he said that his wife was very very upset with him (Duh) and he was scrambling like mad to get her name off of everything on the blog.

Looks like he finally did the right thing- but, unless he gets a job right away (I mean, yesterday), he's actually in worse shape (if that is possible) now....

It's been fun! Wish you all the best...
