What kinds of leads are these? Where specifically in northern California?

These are going to be people in various stages of foreclosure or pre-foreclosure. I expect the areas will be mostly urban, San Jose, Sacramento, Bay Area.

Nigel, is this marketing campaign stemming from your work with Casey Serin? He doesn't seem like the sort of a person an ethical businessman would deal with.

Nigel,
Not much of a discussion here. This should be in classifieds. Please repost.

Guess you are starting to get a reputation... just not the one you thought it would be. Again, I don't feel bad or sad for this guy either. If you think Nigel is a do-gooder who's trying to graciously help someone out or stick up for the underdog, think again.
I'll just keep pointing out the fact that this guy took a business meeting with Casey and was just moments away from turning Foreclosure Avoiders into a two-man flop.
Nigel, you need to learn that business, marketing and success consists of more than just coming up with a really dumb name, creating a blog and hyperlinking yourself into good rankings. Foreclosure Referrals isn't a business plan, it's just bottom-feeding and trying to milk one more penny out of this housing bubble mess.
The sooner you and your kind are out of the business the sooner the industry reverts back to historical norms.

Pool Maintenance in Foreclosure
In this gem, Casey (or ghostwriter) attempts to don the new "Foreclosure Avoider" persona to subtly shift the focus of the site to be a foreclosure assistance site.
Before we go into what is said here, can anyone tell me what the f a foreclosure assistance site is going to do? Set aside Casey & Nigel's endless thirst for a quick buck and attention. Wait, so let me get this straight. I'll give you $39 to talk with you for $20 to get ultimately referred to someone who's going to want MORE money from me so that you'll get a cut? Sign me up.
We learn in this post that Casey has a bit of a public health issue with his property. Clearly the neighbors have been complaining about this and turned him into the Mosquito Abatement District. I would imagine this pool has been festering in the sun, unattended and has become not only an eye sore, but a serious health hazard.
What does Casey do here?
He hopes someone will tell him to stall while he continues to cower in his room (well his sister-in-laws room) until someone offers him a big chunk of money for... something.Should I call the abatement and see what my options are? Or maybe I should wait a little longer for the answer on the second. Then I can tell them that we have the house in escrow and it should be selling soon and tell them that the new owners will start cleaning it up as soon as it’s closed. Please advise.
– Casey Serin
I will give him credit for coining a term I doubt has been used before, pre-foreclosure property ownership. That's a gem.
When you think about the type of person who writes something like this, it's really sad. Casey is a boy who's world has never ceased to revolve around anyone other than himself. Most people would have been embarrassed into action immediately.
What probably happened behind the scenes is that he found out how much of a risk it was for himself to not act (probably in an email he didn't post) and reluctantly moved yesterday. It would have ruined his new Foreclosure Assister personality to show it takes serious consequences to get the boy to move.
