A Special Message (and Interpretation) To Galina Serin From Casey Serin

Yes, I sometimes
feel held back
by marriage.
\
Well, ok, I think he means get off your ass and bring home some bacon (or at least a 7 year, 2 year degree). Me, I say get on that trampoline with that Century 21 jacket.

Poster Boys?

When the bubble is popped (sorry Nigel!) and no one is talking about Real Estate as an investment anymore, what will we remember most? The crazy nutjob fliptards and their sketchy mortgage broking friends and all their hare-brained schemes?

Casey Serin, Man of No Action

I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I need to, I must focus, I will, I am looking, learn a whole new set of skills, I have plenty of opportunities to solve my cashflow problems.

The only thing that will bring you cash in the near future is getting Trampolina to agree to that lingere show. I'd go $50 for topless, i'm sure many more would too.

This latest post is borderline bizzare. Going to need some time to figure out this mess. Some inital gems:

Yes, I sometimes feel held back by marriage.
HELD BACK FROM WHAT? Casey my boy, if there ever were soulmates in this world it was you and Galina "6 more years" Serin. You two were made for each other. A nice couple that can at least pose well in front of the camera. Her with her Lil' Scammer brand clipboard, and you with your near-perfected depression pose.

Casey, you will never be successful. You spend hours researching a horribly confusing post about living in a car to conclude you'll never do it. I'm glad that you're not actually recommending the book (but I suspect you never READ your Real Estate Education books either, because it might actually be worth reading.

Nothing much to rant about, this is just one of Casey's dumbest posts.

Foreclosure Avoiders Changed My Life i'm coming for you, read all about FA at Foreclosure Avoiders Ruined My Life.

*** UPDATE *** Casey starting to censor his non-honest posts, this one was deleted. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....

Breaking News

Breaking News: Foreclosure Avoiders Ruined My Life is Back and "Utterly Disgusted"

Nod to Akubi for this hot tip. You can read more about the TRUE Foreclosure Avoiders story here. It's a tear jerker.

Nigel 13000! Whee.

Nigel Swaby, the Axe-Man, takes a break from cutting deals with Casey Serin, building new businesses (on free blog sites), partying with bobsled teams. The blogcation has really paid off and Nigel is ready to dive into some deep economic commentary... uh, bolsterd by a syndicated horoscope column.

Master of the obvious, who brought us such great insight as "My point is this is mostly algae caused by the sun," is at it again this time trying to tackle Haterz, housing bears and people with some actual insight on economics.

I believe Wall Street is beginning to wise up to the screamingly negative headlines too. Yesterday was a great example. Early in the morning, March GDP numbers were released. While there was growth, the numbers didn't hit estimates. After reaching a new record Thursday, the stock market had barely budged.

Dow 13k certainly is a pretty number, but while it's a nice psychological barrier you need to keep in mind that increasingly what is good on Wall Street isn't good for Main Street. The weak dollar affects both worlds very differently. A weaker dollar helps companies be more competitive in the global marketplace, I read somewhere that most companies that have reported earnings recently (something like 70-80%) said that the current currency situation has been beneficial to the bottom line. Good for them. But in other deeper analysis we also learn that there is some serious inflation going on in parts of our economy. Gas, milk isn't getting cheaper. What someone could buy for $1500 in 2000 is costs over $1700 now.

Finally, as the Dow continues to grow, keep in mind the percentage growth to cross these psychological growth gets to be less as it grows.

Full disclosure, unlike Nigel, I know i'm an idiot. So if any of this is off, post it in a comment, maybe i'm totally off mark here as well. I am not a doom and gloomer, I don't have a closet full of gold anywhere, I have a nice 401k and hope it doesn't disappear. I don't want another Great Depression. I am indeed a (temporary?) housing bear, I wanted to buy a house this year but when I started researching on what that really involves (yeah I know, it's silly to educate yourself before diving headfirst into something, right Casey?). I was a bit stunned how "values" in an already expensive area had grown almost 100% in about 5 years. I make a nice living and should be able to buy something decent, but what is now in my range historically are what I consider dumps. Thankfully my rental house costs me about 1/2 to almost a 1/3 of what houses in my neighborhood would cost via mortgages. So I will continue to wait.

What I know is the past few years of "wealth growth" in this country was nothing more than what is a part of Casey's story, borrowing in order to get what you want today. Through sketchy mortgages and HELOCS, I think the consumer has shot it's credit wad for the foreseeable future.

From a BusinessWeek article, via MSNBC:

What worries you the most?

I think the consumer will get stung by the real estate market as it continues to devolve. I think that the consumer is already getting stung by higher energy prices. The U.S. savings rate is negative.

With $1 trillion in ARMs [adjustable-rate mortgages] adjusting this year, and people spending more to heat and cool their homes and to drive and on groceries, these people are going to get pinched. The consumer is two-thirds of the economy, and it's tough to see the economy going ahead with two-thirds of it stalled. I think that the housing correction will extend and move lower than people think. This kind of trend always goes longer and deeper than anyone expects.

Rent: The Comedy

Oh and and on top of that we owe 2 months of rent and utilities and the patience has run out. We are expected to have that money in certified form by May 1st and also pre-pay 2 months of rent in advance if we are to stay here.

Cry-me-a-river-Casey, whining about back-rent due to his family. Casey Serin needs to step back and grow up quickly and be a little honest about things.

Entrepreneur friend-o-mine, let me tell you this gently.

YOU'VE F'ING RENTED YOUR ENTIRE LIFE FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS. YOU HAVE NO MARKETABLE SKILL, YOU BORROWED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO FEEL LIKE YOU WERE SOME SORT OF SUAVE BIG SHOT. YOU HAVE CONTRIBUTED ABSOLUTELY ZERO TO SOCIETY, SAVE FOR YOUR ATTEMPTS AT HOME-OWNERSHIP, WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON THE PROPERTY AFTER YOU AND YOUR LAZY WIFE NAP AND DO NOTHING.

I hope you have enjoyed it a little, because you will not be enjoying hawaiian vacations for a long time. For the love of god stop trying to fool us and others. All you do is dig yourself in deeper as illustrated by another admission of law-bending by driving around without insurance.

I'm sure Nigel.. i mean the guy at the anti-dawg site will lambast you just as much for putting people's lives in danger.

I hope it's very illegal to drive without insurance in CA and I hope someone out there turns you in to stop you from harming yourself and others further.

No Houses, No Money, No Stereo, No Clue

Well, our punishment is over. Casey's back again still trying to sell this new humility angle.

Today I lost my last property to foreclosure.

Everyone, repeat after me... "It was never your property."

I would have just created a bigger mess if I tried it myself.

Like how you've tried the past 4 months to monetize your lie of a story.

...about a thousand emails in my inbox to process, over 30 voice mail messages to return, a pile of unopened mail, unfinished taxes, marriage issues, piles of unsecured debt.

Casey, most of us hard-working Americans who put in our 9-5, or more, sometimes have to deal with 30 voice mail messages and other grueling tasks like answering e-mails and opening those possibly Anthrax-laden pieces of mail (hey, have to justify what's tough about opening the f'ing mail don't you, at least try something more creative).

At the same time there are many good opportunities on the horizon, including a possible job, but nothing is certain right now and everything takes longer then you think.

Most people who have even a modest amount of success or stability in their life KNOW things take longer than we all would want, you are seriously one stupid fuck for trying to pass yourself off as insightful.

Casey, there aren't any REAL opportunities coming your way. This will be echoed over and over to you. At this point in your life you need to give up your aspirations of get-rich-quick and try to salvage the next 10 years of your life by getting off your scamming ass and get a job, whatever it is.

Real business people, investors and other smart folks who make real money do their legwork and actually look into the history of the people they do business with. The sweet opportunities you've tried the past few months are nothing more than bottom-feeding scammers like yourself. Real-estate gurus, wanna be fix-n-flippers do nothing but feed off each other. Until the past 7 or so years, that's been relatively small, dumb community. The floodgates were open, just like in the .com days, and everyone had access to money. Fundamentally nothing changed to justify the housing bubble you were the last person to enter (you know, the guy who was left standing when the music stopped).

Your name, reputation and possibilities are beyond tarnished and will live on indefinitely on the internet. Remember your stupid-ass attempt at mail fraud ( $$FAST-N-EASEY CASH$$ NO risk, NOT a scam!!)? That's still around for everyone who does a check on you to see. You have had your 15 minutes of fame being featured on the tv and articles, but that's your downfall in this get rich quick mentality you can't seem to get over. Once googled, your true self is going to be presented to them. 30 minutes later you are no longer the "victim" in anyone's mind, your history can't be rewritten.

Right now you have two choices: Monetize Trampolinia in the last few moments of your time together. Many people would pay $39 to watch her version of the Dancing Money Show on the Trampoline. But she's gonna be gone soon, someone who takes 6 years+ to not ever get a 2-year degree doesn't really seem like a self-starter to begin with. Second choice? Shut down that blog, delete everything about it and your "opportunities" and try to rebuild something that resembles a life in the next 10 years.

These are going to be people in various stages of foreclosure or pre-foreclosure. I expect the areas will be mostly urban, San Jose, Sacramento, Bay Area.

Nigel, is this marketing campaign stemming from your work with Casey Serin? He doesn't seem like the sort of a person an ethical businessman would deal with.

Nigel,
Not much of a discussion here. This should be in classifieds. Please repost.
Greg

Guess you are starting to get a reputation... just not the one you thought it would be. Again, I don't feel bad or sad for this guy either. If you think Nigel is a do-gooder who's trying to graciously help someone out or stick up for the underdog, think again.

I'll just keep pointing out the fact that this guy took a business meeting with Casey and was just moments away from turning Foreclosure Avoiders into a two-man flop.

Nigel, you need to learn that business, marketing and success consists of more than just coming up with a really dumb name, creating a blog and hyperlinking yourself into good rankings. Foreclosure Referrals isn't a business plan, it's just bottom-feeding and trying to milk one more penny out of this housing bubble mess.

The sooner you and your kind are out of the business the sooner the industry reverts back to historical norms.

Be counted....

Steph J from EN is apparently refusing to share the glorious images of her cleavage with us, but is taking a census if you are a Casey Hater.

I don't hate him, I just think he's a want to be con artist who deserves to be prosecuted. If the law won't do it, we can at least humiliate him.

Take a moment to sign up here for Steph J.

Hey Nigel...

I know you're probably sorry you asked me to be your guest blogger during the infamous blogcation, but maybe you can invite this guy to guest blog for you next time... he seems to know how to write some compelling stuff....

Take a look at quiggleme.com.

An Excellent Casey Serin Primer

Another great reminder as to why no one should feel sorry for this clown:

Can be found here
.

Nigel = Sybil?

Wow, link whoring withdrawal hit our favorite pin salesman hard. The poor guy doesn't know whether he's coming or going. One day he's just trying to latch on to Casey's traffic, the next day he's setting up an anti-haterz site, which briefly turned into a Haterz-Lite site, now he's trying to figure out how to do battle with the Haterz.

From Axe Man's latest post:

Wow some random dude actually took the time to drive ot there and take photos of Casey. Unreal. He is becoming a national obsession.
Then it goes onto some typical boring attempt at feigning some sort of insight, I really don't know how to snark at something without a real point. I think Nigel's next "brand" could be "Interesting Avoiders."

I'm really not sure I understand why Nigel would post on this subject since HE WAS HOURS AWAY FROM ENTERING A BUSINESS DEAL WITH THE GUY. NIGEL, YOU HAD SERIOUS BUSINESS CONVERSATIONS WITH A KNOWN AND ADMITTED SCAMMER WHO'S FAILED AT LIFE. AND HE TRIES TO MAKE FUN OF SOMEONE WHO WENT OUT TO CHECK OUT THE DISASTER THAT IS CASEY'S LIFE?

Nigel more and more seems like Casey fifteen years out. The latest "boom" that was supposed to be his career is quickly souring. Last one hired, first one fired, all that.

I can't wait for Nigel's "Something's (other than my hair) Gotta Give" post.

Until then, My point is this is mostly algae caused by the sun.

Master of the Obvious Strikes Again

Blogcation is over.

Nigel, suffering from withdrawal chimes in with another gem that will challenge my intellect and keep me up for many nights to come. On one of his many successful web properties, Award-winning blogger and Aspiring Web Journalist gives us all a little something to think about.

Highlights can really be wrapped up with:

You can't leave water standing or untreated.

- Insert boring self-congratulating facts about Nigel -

And to conclude:

My point is this is mostly algae caused by the sun.

FUCKING GENIUS! Award-winning blogger, aspiring Internet journalist AND scientist. Interesting sentence structure for someone who feels a need to correct others so much.

Not satisfied with blowing our little minds once more... we know what a knack for branding and marketing he has with Foreclosure Avoiders. Today, Nigel tackles comedy writing (look out Larry David) in this side-splitting suggestion offered up to Benoit:
Benoit,

Your Casey impersonation is pretty funny, but the real Casey has asked me to delete. Maybe you could resurface as Crazy Sarin or some such variant?

HILARIOUS.

TCWND... 2nd in the Series... Casey Serin is no Tenzing Norgay

The cool climbers wouldn't let Casey hold the colorful flags...

Shameless Plug

If you've been a ready of Casey's for months and hate yourself for the dirty feeling you get after returning to the site again and again...

Take a moment to go read this kid's blog. He has an interesting story of a 20-something who got into the high-stakes game of currency trading (at least I think it was currency trading) and proceeded to leverage himself deeper and deeper into the abyss. It seems he also traded away over 100k of his mother's money. He's about to go live in his office after he short sells his house, but he's trying to make amends with the people around him and with himself.

Now at 300k worth of debt, he's no Casey, but take some time to give him some props. If you found Casey Serin's story and hoped for a story that would maybe help you or just be an honest story from a guy who made mistakes. I really appreciate what this kid is trying to do and the road he chose to take on his way back from his problems. Let's just say he and Casey aren't walking on the same path.

I bet Nigel the Link Whore shows up there one of these days as people discover his story.

Things Casey Will Never Do... 1st in a Series of ??

Since Casey is still punishing us, more fun with photoshop.

Nigel is still on blogcation.

Hmmmm...

Had a visitor from Salt Lake City... wonder who in SLC would be interested in this site?

Ladies... Summer Is Almost Here....

Don't forget to get yourself a Nigel before bikini season begins...

http://slcrealestate.blogspot.com/2007/04/real-estate-blogging-im-taking-vacation.html

Rob Dawg

Today seems to be a day of retrobution,

One of Casey/Nigel's legion of supports has apparently tried to create a little attack of their own. They have targeted Rob Dawg of Exurban Nation. This does nothing but illustrate their own stupidity.

Rob had little to nothing to do with what occured on Casey's site yesterday. I was a major contributor in the comments section yesteray because I believe Casey hasn't earned the right to attempt to monetize his traffic or start a new scam... err, I mean entrepreneurial venture.

Yesterday happened organically. I think both of them underestimate their "audience," deep down I think they both believe they are truly smarter than all the HaterzTM.

I am not sure who's behind it... I would normally suspect Nigel. It's clever the way he's gone all-cap on our asses to fool us... oh, but it can't be Nigel, he's on Blogcation.

Something’s Gotta Give

This has been my favorite post of all time. It started off well enough with the goal of furth trying to rehabilitate and reinvent the Casey Serin internet persona.

Debt. Finances. Blog. Foreclosure Site. Negativity. Haters. Details. Follow-through. Partnerships. Opportunities. Job. Book. Success story. Big deals. Crazy ideas. Passive income. Huge deals. Goals. Focus. Priorities. Marriage. Values. Faith. Purpose. Progress. Time. Finances. Finances. Finances…

The pressure of it all is getting to be too much.

Wow, that's some deep introspective stuff. Nevermind it was followed up with typical Casey non-action responses, but at least the photo was well-staged. It represents what clearly goes on in Casey's mind. "As long as I give a certain appearance, people will buy it."

Well Casey, you haven't been contrite over your life the past couple years, you haven't taken a single action to get yourself out of this mess, you just keep stalling, stalling, stalling. Enough is enough, we all get you're lazy and only want to scheme to make money.

Then this post turned into something wonderful, over 450 comments before censorship. The entire string can be found here. This thread in it's uncensored glory shows what Casey's site is all about, the audience. People realize Casey is doomed, whether personally or legally, but the fun is in the intelligence and creativity of the audience.

After the censorship, Casey leaves us with the threat of going away.

This whole thing is getting to be too much. Maybe I’ll sell the blog/domain, maybe I’ll keep it and take on a partner to handle the management of this thing, maybe I’ll put some systems in place to make it more efficient. Either way, I have too many opportunities, and big deals in the works. The blog brings awesome opportunities and connections and there are ways to monetize the traffic that I was just starting to do. I would also love to help people in foreclosure.
Everyone knows you won't close the blog down, you have no other opportunities to come up with another scheme to get rich quick. Just know that we'll be waiting for when the site comes back up to remind you of how you honestly need to change your life and stop doing stuff like this email you send to your family and friends. Pretending you've changed isn't the same as actual change. How embarrassing.

Nigel Hearts Casey

I've always thought that Casey and Nigel weren't really that different. Nigel is a little more together, let's chalk that off to age.

What makes Nigel interesting is his transparent need for attention. Somehow internet traffic = success. I think Nigel is starting to realize that the bubble-train he was fortunate enough to have caught the caboose of (you know, the train Casey was a bit late for) is about to head back to the station.

You can post your rah-rah NAR paraphrased posts all you want, but the party is about over for all that got into the field during the bubble.

So what do our two peas in a pod want to do next? Try to think of the ever growing foreclosure situation as an opportunity to cash in! Somehow a failed flipper and a paper pusher think they've gained the experience to help people through perhaps the toughest and troubling episodes of their lives. How? BY MONETIZING WEB TRAFFIC INTO REFERRAL FEES FOR THEMSELVES!

Fellas, it's tough to get rich. It takes a lot of hard work, not by offering non-services through an Amway-like system $39 at a time.

If you really want to help people, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity but please do not try to sell us your hunger for easy money as a way for helping people.

Pool Maintenance in Foreclosure

In this gem, Casey (or ghostwriter) attempts to don the new "Foreclosure Avoider" persona to subtly shift the focus of the site to be a foreclosure assistance site.

Before we go into what is said here, can anyone tell me what the f a foreclosure assistance site is going to do? Set aside Casey & Nigel's endless thirst for a quick buck and attention. Wait, so let me get this straight. I'll give you $39 to talk with you for $20 to get ultimately referred to someone who's going to want MORE money from me so that you'll get a cut? Sign me up.

We learn in this post that Casey has a bit of a public health issue with his property. Clearly the neighbors have been complaining about this and turned him into the Mosquito Abatement District. I would imagine this pool has been festering in the sun, unattended and has become not only an eye sore, but a serious health hazard.

What does Casey do here?

Should I call the abatement and see what my options are? Or maybe I should wait a little longer for the answer on the second. Then I can tell them that we have the house in escrow and it should be selling soon and tell them that the new owners will start cleaning it up as soon as it’s closed. Please advise.

– Casey Serin

He hopes someone will tell him to stall while he continues to cower in his room (well his sister-in-laws room) until someone offers him a big chunk of money for... something.

I will give him credit for coining a term I doubt has been used before, pre-foreclosure property ownership. That's a gem.

When you think about the type of person who writes something like this, it's really sad. Casey is a boy who's world has never ceased to revolve around anyone other than himself. Most people would have been embarrassed into action immediately.

What probably happened behind the scenes is that he found out how much of a risk it was for himself to not act (probably in an email he didn't post) and reluctantly moved yesterday. It would have ruined his new Foreclosure Assister personality to show it takes serious consequences to get the boy to move.
